imo to get a stronger concept in here you'd have to shoot a pic of yourself with your eyes closed. eyes wide open with a slight sense of fear dont really suggest sleep imo

also, might wanna use a lower iso setting, you've got a bit too much noise in both images

need a lower iso or use some light source
the shadow could have a better position
and i dont find the picture on the top interesting
but i like the bottom one, you should try it again

need? a lower ISO i think it looks fine, I like the look and everything but I dont think any really message is sent across ...

You are a lovely lady!....nice mood!....agree ...it looks a little dark in my monitor....but that is probably what you wanted., since sleep is related to darkness.

the picture was suppose to be dark because it's night.. and the high iso is because i like the noise..

very beautiful face! But I must agree with some others here that the top photo isn´t really very interesting... Mhhh... but maybe it makes your picture something different, something special actually on account of the top picture - I don´t know

I thought the whole composition communicated some sort of longing for someone.. an empty bed, and those open eyes are more longing to me than filled with fear as cigaro said. ok, the iso is high, but it has a associative value to me, kind of romantic, poor quality pictures taken in the dark-like..

I like it. I think you need to choose another title if this is the case. I think you might have wanted to capture the fact that you are restless and cannot sleep. That would make more sense to me. But i'm not sure what you were trying to capture.
